What we do

Everything between you and a booked load

We work on your behalf with brokers, as your dispatcher. You approve every load before it's booked.

Load booking

We search load boards and work with brokers to find loads that fit your truck, your lanes and your home time.

Rate negotiation with brokers

We push brokers for better linehaul so you're not leaving money on the table. You see the rate before you say yes.

Broker setup & carrier packets

We build and send your carrier packet and get you set up with brokers, so you can book faster.

Paperwork

Rate confirmations, bills of lading and proof of delivery, collected and kept organized so billing goes smoothly.

Pickup & delivery tracking

We keep tabs on every load from pickup to delivery and stay in touch with the broker so you can focus on driving.

Weekly revenue-per-mile reports

A clear weekly look at what each load actually netted per mile, so you know which lanes are worth running.

How it works

From signup to paid in four steps

  2. Get set up

We build your carrier packet and get you set up with brokers. New authority is fine, though some load sources want 3 to 12 months.

  3. Approve & roll

We find loads and negotiate with brokers. You approve the load, get the rate confirmation and run it. We track pickup to delivery.

  4. Get paid direct

You bill the broker with your own paperwork and the broker pays you directly. We bill our fee on linehaul only.

Hi, I'm Dre

Dispatch, handled.

I run Steady Load Dispatch out of Indianapolis and book loads nationwide for owner-operators and small fleets running box trucks, dry vans and hotshots.

I work only through brokers, as your agent. You keep your own authority, insurance and billing, and the broker pays you directly.

I'm text and email first, so you're never stuck on hold. Send me a message and we'll see if we're a good fit.

FAQ

Straight answers

Are you a freight broker?

No. Steady Load Dispatch is a dispatch service, not a freight broker. We act as your agent when working with brokers. We don't take possession of freight or handle freight payments.

Who pays me for the loads?

The broker pays you directly. You keep your own billing and bill the broker with your own paperwork.

Do I need my own MC and DOT numbers?

Yes. You run under your own authority and carry your own insurance. We don't haul under your authority; you do.

My authority is brand new. Can I still sign up?

Yes. We don't require a minimum MC age. Be aware that some load sources and brokers require 3 to 12 months of active authority, so your options may be limited at first.

What do you charge?

8% of linehaul for dry vans and 10% of linehaul for box trucks and hotshots. The fee applies to linehaul only, not fuel surcharge, detention or accessorials. No setup fees and no long-term contracts. A flat weekly option is available on request.

Do I have to sign a contract?

After signup, you'll sign a dispatch agreement and a limited power of attorney so we can work with brokers on your behalf. There's no long-term commitment.

What equipment do you dispatch?

Box trucks, dry vans and hotshots.

Can I still use a factoring company?

Yes. Your billing arrangements stay yours, and the broker (or your factor) pays you directly. We never handle freight money. If you factor, your factor pays our dispatch fee directly under a Letter of Direction / Notice of Assignment (NOA). If you don't, we send you a weekly invoice for our fee, due in 7 days, payable by ACH, Zelle or card link.

How do I reach you?

Text (765) 577-2998 or email steadyloaddispatch@gmail.com. We prefer text and email over phone calls.
